THE ROLE This position offers the opportunity to work on first-of-its-kind projects that make a tangible difference in the lives of Victorian renters. The Project Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Energy Efficiency in Social Housing Program by focusing on the renter experience and contractor compliance. They will ensure that renter queries are addressed promptly, that contractor documentation and evidence of works meet program requirements, and that reports are regularly updated and our asset management systems are kept up to date. Collaboration and innovation are central to the role, as the Project Officer works with the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Manager to tackle a range of complex challenges. These may include introducing new safety practices for insulation, establishing relationships with energy distributors for gas disconnection, and reviewing communication materials to ensure they meet renters' needs.
