Geographe Civil
Geographe Civil is seeking a Drainer - Pipe Layer to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of drainage and pipe systems and general skilled labouring duties as part of our Civil Construction Projects across the Southwest.
What you'll be doing
Install and commission water mains, stormwater and wastewater systems in accordance with drawings and specifications
Carry out valve replacements, repairs and emergency maintenance
Working to levels and grades, including excavation, backfilling and site restoration
Perform general labouring duties on site as required
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations and company policies
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
About you
Local South West resident (essential)
Demonstrated experience in the Civil Construction industry
Knowledge of pipe laying and excavation techniques, pipe laser grade equipment, drainage systems, and relevant regulations
Valid HR licence (preferred)
Basic Traffic Management Ticket - will be highly regarded
White / Blue construction card
PVC Pipe-laying accreditation (preferred but not essential)
Poly-welding Ticket (preferred but not essential)
Good understanding of, and ability to interpret construction drawings, attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Strong work ethic, team player, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all tasks
Able to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
