**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer with experience in managing the end to end payroll of over 100 employees and some exposure to HR or willingness to learn to join the team. Your role with be a mix of payroll as well as HR and Recruitment keeping you busy and motivated.

**Duties**:
- End to end payroll
- Processing of fortnightly pay runs with accuracy and meeting, deadlines
- Processing all leave requests
- Preparing and processing all termination calculations as per relevant awards, employment contracts, company policies and other relevant legislation
- Responding promptly to payroll queries
- Preparing, payroll reports and information as required for internal and external reporting
- Managing and processing - salary, bonuses, commissions, leave entitlements, PAYG tax, superannuation, workcover, parental leave and government entitlements & incentives
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger payroll related journals and balances
- Provide necessary information to the financial accounting teams
- Prepare payroll data related analysis as requested
- End of year processing, ATO and Payroll Tax Lodgments
- Produce month end reports including leave liability for the Human Resource Manager
- Maintaining Payroll records accurately and confidentially at all times
- Dive the consolidation of multiple payroll systems (CHEOPS and KeyPay) identifying, scoping and managing the transition to one payroll system across the group
**Recruitment & HR Duties**:
- Managing job advertisements and vacancies
- Engaging with Recruiters
- Organising and scheduling interviews
- Compiling Letters of Offer and relevant documentation
- Manage the onboarding of all new employees alongside their Direct Manager
- With Human Resource Manager develop and implement effective performance management and performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organisation
**Skills and Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar Payroll Officer role managing the end to end payroll of over 100 employees
- High levels of accuracy and the ability to work autonomously
- Some exposure to HR and Recruitment process and procedure
- A willingness to learn and evolve with the company
- Construction industry experience highly desirable
- CHEOPS systems experience highly beneficial
- Experience with Excel worksheets and reporting
- Related qualifications / studies
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
