Known for exceptional service and attention to detail, they are seeking a Flooring Consultant to join their team – this opportunity arises due to a long-term team member taking on new challenges.
About the Role
This is a client-facing position requiring an experienced, motivated and results-driven professional with a background in flooring sales, fit-outs, or retail flooring. The role encompasses the full sales process—from initial consultation and onsite measurements to quotations, sales, and coordination with installers. You will be a trusted advisor offering tailored flooring solutions to residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and assist walk-in customers in the Fyshwick showroom
* Conduct onsite flooring measurements and assessments
* Prepare accurate and competitive quotes
* Manage sales from enquiry through to installation
* Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth job delivery
* Deliver outstanding customer service and after-sales support
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in flooring is essential
* Demonstrated experience in measuring and quoting for product fit outs
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
* Professional presentation and personable manner
* Full Australian working rights
