Help power a growing group of entrepreneurial businesses while enjoying genuine work-life balance in this senior, hands-on Management Accountant role.
Opportunity
As Management Accountant, you'll own the group's in-house finances and be a trusted strategic partner to the owners, providing clarity, control and insight across multiple entities. You'll hit the ground running, putting robust systems in place and delivering the kind of financial visibility that directly influences key business and wealth-building decisions.
We're seeking someone who will take a genuine, vested interest in the success of our businesses, provide strong, reliable and dedicated financial management, and support us in building long-term wealth through our business and family endeavours. Someone who is timely, responsible and dedicated in managing all financial matters, ensuring the business remains secure, compliant and confident in its financial position while we focus on the continued growth of our brands.
What You'll Be Doing
Improving and maintaining financial systems to ensure accuracy, accountability and informed decision-making.
Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll and cashflow to ensure smooth financial operations.
Preparing and delivering timely financial statements, budgets, audits and reports to drive business outcomes.
Analyzing financial data and providing actionable recommendations to owners and at times, key clients.
Ensuring compliance with financial laws, accounting standards and ATO deadlines.
Managing relationships with external accountants and supporting entity setup, family trusts, finance approvals and overall financial governance.
Supporting and developing the in-house team, driving efficiency and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring
You're not just a numbers person, you're strategically minded, commercially astute and comfortable operating as the "go-to" finance leader in an entrepreneurial environment. You'll bring CPA (or equivalent), proven experience in senior finance roles (Financial Controller, CFO or similar), a track record of accurate financial management that supports growth, and exposure to SMEs across multiple industries. You're organised, adaptable, able to juggle competing priorities and ideally have tertiary finance qualifications and experience in construction or professional services.
About the Business
This group of companies includes Founder's Edge, Burgin & Doyle and 90 Degrees Global. Together these brands help established businesses reach the next level by providing entrepreneur education through live and online programs, business coaching and fractional CEO engagements. Through these programs, business owners adopt entirely new approaches to their businesses, overcoming barriers and building sustainable enterprises and legacies with increased revenue and profitability.
We're entrepreneurs and are committed to generating strong revenues and delivering stronger profits and results for our clients. While currently focused on the day-to-day operations of the group, our long-term intention is to establish an emerging family office over the next five years.
If you're ready to partner closely with the founders, shape the financial future of multiple brands and enjoy the flexibility of a three-day week, we'd love to hear from you.
