About the Opportunity
As a Contracts Officer within our SDPR team, you will play a key role in managing tenders and contracts activities to ensure timely, effective, and compliant service delivery across HealthShare NSW.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor staff through tender processes, monitor contract performance, and drive improvements in procurement practices. You will work with NSW Government procurement frameworks, contract management systems, and policy development tools to deliver high-quality outcomes that support HealthShare NSW's operational needs.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver end-to-end tender and contract management activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely outcomes.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting to support effective contract management and audit requirements.
* Lead and mentor staff through tender processes, facilitating working groups and stakeholder engagement across multiple sites.
* Monitor and manage contract performance, communicating effectively with vendors to optimise outcomes.
* Contribute to process improvements and policy development to enhance procurement efficiency and service quality.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience in procurement, tenders, and contract management, with a strong understanding of NSW Government procurement policies.
* Excellent organisational and documentation skills, ensuring compliance with audit and reporting requirements.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including mentoring and guiding staff through tender processes.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, delivering accurate and timely outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in developing policies, procedures, and operational manuals, with a focus on continuous improvement.
