Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the F-35 program, you will be exposed to a variety of Defence platforms opening up doors to multiple development opportunities in Defence. This 18 month fixed term contract will commence April/May
The Systems Administrator located in Williamtown, NSW, will be will be responsible for a broad spectrum of tasks falling under the following categories:
Configuration management, access control, security, troubleshooting, and user education, in addition to ensuring the system's business as usual (BAU) operations
* User Maintenance and Hardware support
* Data management and System Technical Support/Configuration
* Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery
About you:
* Well-developed communication skills and ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders will be key to your success.
* Tertiary qualification in a related discipline (typically Information Technology) and/or equivalent experience/combined education in Systems, Network or Database administration
* Ability to travel interstate on occasion
* Team player, passionate about IT and a willingness to learn new and exciting technology
Desirable
* Demonstrated experience in a project environment within Defence
* Experience in Oracle and/or CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+
* Experience in ODIN and or ALIS
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
