Seven West Media is seeking a Commercial Data & Systems Manager to join the Digital Advertising team with responsibility for the platforms and data that support commercial operations.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in systems, data, and digital advertising workflows playing a strategic role in optimising advertising platforms, safeguarding data integrity, and enabling commercial teams with scalable, insight‐driven tools.
Stakeholder management is central to success with the role operating as a trusted strategic partner across Sales, Advertising Operations, Campaign Management, Finance, and Technology to drive aligned commercial outcomes.
About the role
* Manage and optimise key advertising systems including Sugar CRM, Phoenix (digital booking platform), and CCI (print booking platform).
* Ensure systems run reliably and support the day-to-day needs of advertising and sales teams.
* Maintain strong data quality and governance across customer, campaign, product, and booking data.
* Troubleshoot system issues and work with internal technology teams and vendors to resolve them.
* Monitor and support integrations between CRM, booking platforms, ad tech systems, and reporting tools.
* Provide system support and guidance to Sales, Advertising Operations, Campaign Management, and Finance teams.
* Deliver user training, documentation, and onboarding support for new system users.
* Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual processes across the advertising lifecycle.
* Support reporting and insights development using Power BI, Looker Studio, SQL, and Oracle Reports Builder.
* Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
About you
* Experience managing CRM or commercial systems.
* Strong system administration and troubleshooting skills.
* Understanding of digital advertising workflows or campaign processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Desirable
* Experience with Google Ad Manager or ad trafficking platforms.
* Knowledge of APIs, integrations, or ETL tools.
* SQL or data analysis skills.
* Experience in media, publishing, or advertising environments.
