Inbound/Outbound Function Sales Coordinator

RD Jones Group is a family‐owned business with over 40 years' experience in hospitality. With 14 well‐known venues, we are always working on something exciting. Some of our more established brands include The Moseley, The Woody and The Gully Public House & Garden.

As the Functions Sales Coordinator, you will manage both inbound enquiries and proactively generate new business opportunities, driving functions bookings across our venues. You will play a key role in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and ensuring clients receive a seamless and professional experience from first contact through to function delivery.

Key Responsibilities Inbound Functions Sales
* Respond promptly to all functions enquiries via phone, email and online platforms
* Qualify enquiries and prepare tailored proposals and quotations
* Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through strong relationship management and follow‐up
* Maintain accurate records of enquiries and bookings within the CRM system
Outbound Sales & Business Development
* Proactively identify and pursue new functions opportunities
* Conduct outreach to corporate clients, function planners and local businesses
* Build long‐term client relationships to generate repeat bookings
* Maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute to achieving revenue targets
Functions Coordination
* Coordinate confirmed functions bookings and ensure all details are documented accurately
* Prepare contracts, function sheets and schedules
* Liaise with internal teams including operations, catering and AV to ensure successful delivery
* Conduct pre‐function confirmations with clients
Client Experience
* Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the functions process
* Conduct post‐function follow‐ups to gather feedback and identify future opportunities
About You
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Sales driven and confident in converting enquiries into bookings
* A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
* Able to manage multiple bookings in a fast‐paced hospitality environment
* Proactive in generating new business opportunities
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality, functions coordination or sales
* Experience managing inbound and outbound sales enquiries
* Experience using CRM or booking management systems
