Working out of our Dalby Head Office, we are seeking an Administration Officer to join our small Finance & Admin team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this All-Rounder role, you'll manage a blend of Office Administration and Accounts Payable (AP) duties, providing essential support to our operations.
This position offers variety and a rewarding level of challenge, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities. The ideal candidate values consistency, brings a proactive approach, and is driven to support the Admin & Finance function effectively. Candidates must be based in Dalby or within a 30-minute drive for a convenient, safe commute that supports a good work-life balance.
Duties will include:
* Processing invoices accurately and efficiently.
* Handling purchase requisitions and matching invoices.
* Reconciling bank accounts, supplier statements and credit cards.
* Communicating with staff and suppliers to ensure payment accuracy.
* Assisting with corporate travel arrangements as needed.
* Assisting within inbound and outbound calls.
* Supporting month-end processes and reporting activities.
* Managing supplier onboarding, maintaining supplier relations, and ensuring account compliance.
* General office and administrative duties across the business.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous administrative experience is required;
* Experience in AP and Xero highly regarded;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Accurate and efficient data entry;
* Strong time management and organisational skills,
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, essential for effective teamwork and collaboration.
* Valid, open Driver's Licence with reliable transport; and
* Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.
