This high-impact leadership role is critical to the success of our Major Projects business, initially focusing on developing a high-performing Major Projects Sales Group and driving strategic growth across our Space Rentals and Workforce Housing business lines.This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of a growing organisation, with a strong mandate to enhance tender accuracy, build sales capabilities, and establish a pipeline that sets the foundation for sustained success in 2025 and beyond.
This is a pivotal role within our Senior Management team and is intended to act as a springboard into an Executive leadership position within 2-3 years based on exceptional performance.What You'll Do:Lead strategic planning and execution in alignment with the General Manager WA and executive leadership.Establish, structure, and mentor a cross-functional Major Projects Sales team to be self-sufficient within the first 12 months.Oversee sales growth and market expansion across core sectors and emerging industries including Permanent Modular Construction (PMC), Education, Health, Defence and Government.Improve bid accuracy through standardised estimating tools and process enhancements.Build relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive growth and visibility.Develop financial models and resource strategies to support business goals.Champion CRM integration and ensure best practices across the sales lifecycle.Provide strategic insight through market analysis and risk evaluation.Represent ATCO in external forums and internal strategy sessions, ensuring alignment and accountability.What You'll Bring:A postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field (MBA preferred).Extensive experience in strategic leadership, business development, and team building.Strong background in tendering processes, financial forecasting, and commercial negotiations.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and delivering results in complex business environments.High level of computer literacy, especially in CRM and Microsoft Office applications.What We Offer You:Competitive salary and leadership opportunity in a global organisation.Bursary Program, Employee Assistance Program, and Employee Share Purchase Plan.The chance to lead a critical strategic transformation within a respected industry leader.Joining Team ATCOWhether you're an accomplished executive ready to lead major growth initiatives or a strategic leader looking to drive long-term value, ATCO offers a dynamic platform for your success.
