The Australian Army is seeking skilled and ambitious lawyers to join its dynamic legal team.
This challenging role involves working in a stimulating mix of disciplines, including disciplinary, administrative, operations, civil and commercial law as well as handling legal aid requirements.
You will have the opportunity to advance your skillset with short courses and additional qualifications, and enjoy opportunities to travel around Australia and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of complex issues
- Conduct research and analysis to inform legal decisions
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- Admission as a Barrister and/or Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, or of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia
- More than 18 months of Solicitor experience (preferably)
- Australian citizenship or ability to obtain a security clearance
