Duffy & Simon, a progressive leader in the legal industry with nearly 50 years’ experience, is growing across key areas, including litigation, commercial, property, estates, and family law.
Due to this growth, we are seeking a commercial lawyer, 3-5yrs PAE to join the team.
What you will do
As a Commercial lawyer you’ll enjoy autonomy and variety in your work, with opportunities to collaborate with Partners on high-value transactions. This role is an opportunity to work on some of the more complex corporate/commercial matters ranging from:
1. Shareholders agreement, joint ventures and partnership advice;
2. Business acquisitions and sales;
3. Shareholder/partnership disputes;
4. Corporate structuring;
5. General commercial advice;
6. Contract advice and disputes;
7. Legal research including reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes.
About You
* 3-5yrs PAE in commercial law;
* Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects in a fast-paced environment;
* Practical and client-focused problem-solving and research skills;
* Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team;
* Well-developed drafting, dispute resolution, and negotiation skills with attention to detail;
* Excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills;
* LEAP, CITEC, and RedCrest experience preferable.
