Job Overview
The Change & Risk Management Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Change and Risk team by effectively managing changes and risk for various projects. This includes ensuring compliance with established plans, identifying post-contract changes, preparing head contract claims, and implementing risk contingency measures.
Key responsibilities involve assisting in assessing project changes that impact time, cost, and scope, including client-initiated and internal changes. Additionally, this role involves supporting contract claims, particularly for client-driven changes and cost-plus arrangements.
* Assist in assessing and managing project changes impacting time, cost, and scope.
* Support contract claims, particularly for client-driven changes and cost-plus arrangements.
* Process change requests, ensure approval, and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
* Deliver tailored training to site teams on project-specific change management processes.
* Identify, assess, and monitor risks and opportunities, aligning them with change management strategies.
* Engage stakeholders, report on risks, ensure compliance through audits, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
* 2+ years of experience in a related field.
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Basic measurement skills using software (BlueBeam).
* Cost estimating skills, with first principle pricing as an advantage.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking through claim issues.
* Ability to handle competing priorities and multitask.
