Job Description:
At Quinn & Co. Eyecare, we are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive environment for everyone involved in the eyewear experience.
We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a part-time eyewear consultant/receptionist. If you're a self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
No prior experience in the optical industry is required, as comprehensive training will be provided on the job.
Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet patients with a smile
* Answer the phone, book appointments, manage emails, filing, scanning, and other administrative duties
* Assist patients in selecting suitable frames and sunglasses, taking into account their visual needs, prescription requirements, and personal style preferences
* Provide expert advice and recommendations on lens options to optimize vision and enhance the overall eyewear experience
* Conduct frame adjustments, repairs, and minor maintenance, ensuring optimal fit and comfort for patients
* Place and track orders for lenses, frames, and other eyewear accessories, coordinating with external suppliers and maintaining inventory control
* Collaborate effectively with optometrists, support staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service/retail assistant is ideal but not essential
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages and backgrounds
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
* The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
* A growth mindset and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Good computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
