Chocolate Maker & Line Manager at Coated Australia
Love chocolate? Join our fast-growing chocolate business Coated Australia is looking for an experienced Chocolate Maker / Line Manager to oversee production and ensure our products meets the highest standards with efficiency.
Our range of chocolates at Coated Australia consist of over 25 chocolate coated products, with a larger range during key seasonal periods like Christmas and Easter.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and manage our enrobing line (Selmi)
* Understand chocolate tempering milk, dark, white and caramel chocolate.
* Maintain traceability and quality control across all production batches
* Manage and follow daily/weekly production schedules
* Oversee packaging processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
* Monitor inventory levels, complete stock checks, and place orders when required
* Lead the team on the line to meet deadlines and efficiency targets while maintaining high standards.
About You:
* Proven experience with chocolate production, particularly enrobing and tempering, preferably 2+ years experience.
* Experience in product development and ingredient sourcing a bonus, but not essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety, traceability, and quality control standards
* Organised and confident managing schedules, staff and production flow
* Knowledge of packaging processes and inventory management
* Hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about chocolate
* Experience operating a 'walkie-stacker' or forklift a bonus.
* Comfortable with working on your feet for a full 8 hour shift, as well as lifting 10-20kg boxes.
