This is a unique opportunity to work with our team as a Relationship Banking Advisor in our North Lakes branch. As the key point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service by understanding and responding to their financial needs.
You will engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand their current and future goals, then match them with banking solutions from everyday accounts to credit cards, personal loans, and more.
This role is ideal for someone looking to launch a career in lending, with structured training and a clear pathway toward becoming a Lending Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage customers to understand their current and future financial goals and respond with suitable banking solutions.
* Process loan maintenance requests (top-ups, pricing adjustments, variations) with a focus on a smooth customer experience.
* Identify opportunities for referrals to other specialist teams.
* Maintain regular contact with new and existing customers, manage leads, and book appointments to deepen relationships and drive retention.
* Coach Customer Service Officers on delivering quality conversations, lead identification, and service excellence.
* Champion and promote the use of digital banking tools among customers.
* Contribute to a pathway toward lending roles through structured training and development.
Qualifications and Skills
* A confident communicator with a genuine passion for helping people.
* Experience in customer service, ideally within banking or financial services; exposure to consumer lending is a plus.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
* The ability to navigate financial systems, collaborate effectively, and go above and beyond for customers and colleagues.
