Account Development Specialist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy with the Regional Manager to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets. This includes conducting regular sales visits to customer locations and regions as outlined in the sales plan.
Key responsibilities include providing expert advice, support customers, and tailored engineering solutions with Xylem products. The Account Development Specialist will also actively promote Xylem services, spare parts, and long-term preventative maintenance agreements to establish customer satisfaction and retention.
The successful candidate will identify tender opportunities and future construction projects and follow up on leads to build a strong sales pipeline. They will prioritize new initiatives within ongoing or planned projects, allocating resources effectively to maximize revenue and maintain a balanced product portfolio.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in marketing and sales with the Water Infrastructure sector is highly desirable.
* Tertiary qualifications in sales, engineering, or business are required.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships is essential.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are required.
* Excellent time management abilities, with attention to detail, are necessary.
