We are looking for a skilled Nurse Consultant to join our team, working closely with children and adolescents who require mental health support.
About the Opportunity
This position involves providing expert clinical knowledge and interventions in child and adolescent mental health nursing, with a focus on client-centered care and adherence to established policies and procedures.
* You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating care for clients, using your independent clinical decision-making skills.
* You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
* You will participate in clinical review programs and audits to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A strong background in mental health nursing, with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing care plans, and referring clients to relevant services.
* Experience supervising students, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses and/or midwives.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
* The ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
