We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our professional Emergency team. Our hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients.
Job Description:
Our Emergency Department offers state-of-the-art equipment in world-class facilities, utilizing EMR (electronic medical records) and MEDCHART (medication management/administration) systems. We provide 24/7 care to residents and visitors of the community, with a large ground floor area divided into zones: Paediatrics, 24 hour Short stay, Adult acute assessment, Resuscitation, and Mental health assessment.
* Deliver researched-based standards of nursing care as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN).
* Take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) providing supervision, direction and guidance to deliver patient care.
As a registered nurse, you will also provide support and guidance to nursing peers and patients for the management of their healthcare, rehabilitation or end of life needs and maintain a professional development portfolio with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
About You:
* Current Registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an Emergency Nursing environment (preferably both adult and paediatric).
* Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards) - Desired.
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
* Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Works well independently and within a team.
