Finance Officer - 6-Month Contract

We are seeking a finance professional to join a government‑affiliated client as a Finance Officer (APS4) on a 6‑month contract. This role is suited to an organised and proactive individual looking to apply and further develop their experience in accounts payable, procurement, and corporate credit card administration within a structured finance team.
About the Role
* Process accounts payable, manage vendor accounts, and administer corporate credit cards
* Support procurement and contracting activities, including documentation and data entry
* Maintain accurate financial records and provide high‑quality support to internal teams
* Contribute to team projects and assist with Finance section tasks as required
About You
* Delivers excellent customer service and builds strong internal relationships
* Communicates clearly, both written and verbal
* Thrives under pressure and manages competing priorities effectively
* Has strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
* Brings previous finance or administrative experience, ideally in a government or corporate environment
Desirable: Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement processes and enterprise finance systems
