TPG Telecom is seeking a seasoned legal professional to assume a senior corporate counsel role in its Sydney-based Legal Department.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level strategic advice and risk analysis, leading complex negotiations, and anticipating business and regulatory issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver timely and commercially astute strategic legal advice and support
* Lead negotiations for complex contracts and key projects
* Act as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders, anticipating business and regulatory challenges
* Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders by aligning with company values
* Mentor junior lawyers and secondees, acting as a role model
* Drive initiatives to enhance legal knowledge management and process innovation
Requirements:
* Legally qualified, holding a current practicing certificate
* Minimum of 6 years PQE
* Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
* Strong contract drafting and advisory skills
* Ability to apply legal and regulatory knowledge strategically
* Sound judgment and excellent decision-making skills
* Capacity to handle complex and high-risk issues
* Well-organized, with excellent planning skills
* Collaborative team player, with demonstrated relationship-building skills
