About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations in the company's next phase of growth. This role will be central to ensuring sound financial management, compliance, and insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership, the Finance Manager will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning, playing a key role in supporting both operational performance and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the finance function, including statutory compliance (tax, audit, reporting), payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
* Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide operational and capital planning.
* Deliver timely and accurate management reports, including variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and cost reviews.
* Partner with operations and project teams to ensure alignment between financial strategy and business objectives.
* Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management processes.
* Provide financial analysis to support investment decisions, project evaluations, and funding strategies.
* Mentor and lead a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
About You
* CPA or CA qualification, supported by a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5–8 years' experience in finance, ideally with team management experience.
* Audit and public practice experience is highly desirable
* MUST HAVE mining or resources experience.
* Strong ASX experience is highly desirable.
* Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and reporting.
* Strong knowledge of compliance, statutory reporting, and regulatory obligations.
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
* Collaborative approach, with strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-financial teams.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and develop a finance team.
