We have more than 50 years’ experience in mining, civil construction and the transport industry. We have built a leading reputation for successful and efficient completion of major projects, including clearing works, haul road construction, topsoil and overburden removal, crushing & screening, and mine site rehabilitation.
Charles Hull Contracting pride ourselves on our client relationships and are seeking a candidate that can forge and maintain client relationships to a high standard whilst ensuring successful delivery of the existing and future service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team in all construction and mining activities, ensuring activities are controlled and coordinated to the Client Standards.
- Ensure appropriate operational, functional and management control processes are in place to achieve project objectives
- Lead and guide the project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with the contractual documentation, company standards and procedures, including supervising and scheduling project activities
- Control project programming, cost control, quality control, procurement, contracts administration, supervision, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors
- Develop and review construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates
- Value and manage variations, liaising with clients, contract administrators and other relevant parties
- Track and report on both client and internal safety production KPI's
What We Are Looking For
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Project Management or Business related discipline (preferred but not essential)
- Extensive experience in Civil Construction, Project Management or Operations Management and/or a similar role
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and good people acumen
- Strong Leadership qualities and ability to effectively manage a team
