The opportunity

The Head of Commercial will provide strategic leadership across commercial risk, deal discipline and margin protection, working closely with Legal, Finance and the Executive team. This role will set the commercial framework for how the business assesses opportunities, structures risk and supports major tenders and projects.

This is a mandate‐driven role suited to a proven commercial leader who enjoys operating at both a strategic and practical level, influencing decisions that have material impact on the business.

Key responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to) the following:

* Lead and embed commercial frameworks, pricing discipline and margin governance across the Group
* Provide senior commercial input into major tenders, bids and negotiations
* Partner closely with Legal to ensure commercial and contractual risk is appropriately identified and managed
* Oversee post‐award commercial health and value protection across projects
* Provide commercial insight, forecasting and scenario analysis to senior leadership
* Build commercial capability across estimating, delivery and corporate functions

About you

You will be a senior commercial professional with demonstrated experience operating in construction, infrastructure or a similarly complex, contract‐driven environment.

Just as important as your technical capability is your judgement and leadership style.

* Strong commercial acumen with a disciplined approach to risk and decision making
