Procurement Specialist

* We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Specialist to join our busy high-performance catering unit in Perth Airport on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will oversee a wide variety of supply chain activities and ensure successful management of the supply of products and services.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Managing Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day receiving, dispatching, and accounting for goods in stores.
2. Sustainable Cost Management: Contribute to promoting cost sustainability/improvement by implementing best practices in stock maintenance.
3. Inventory Monitoring: Monitor consumption of short-shelf-life products.
4. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with departments to ensure timely deliveries.
5. Reporting and Compliance: Generate weekly purchasing and wastage reports, ensure timely acceptance of inbound goods, and maintain regulatory compliance.

To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated success in a similar position and possess leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong background in procurement or a related field.
* Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety, QSAI requirements, and WHS regulations.
* Experience with ERP systems and Forklift operations.
