Northern Glass Group is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to take ownership of our transactional finance operations and work closely with the Director and management team to drive financial excellence across the business.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will ensure accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in all financial processes while delivering insights that shape strategic decisions.

What You'll Do
· Financial Operations: Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, supplier payments, and payroll coordination.
· Data & Reporting: Ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely month-end close; support management reporting and dashboards.
· Process Improvement: Streamline workflows and drive automation for greater efficiency.
· Compliance & Audit: Maintain strong controls, prepare audit documentation, and manage transactional risk.
· Planning & Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and stock management processes
· Insights & Analysis: Deliver monthly reports, analyse performance trends, and support management / project reporting.
· Business Partnering: Work with team leaders to provide commercial support on bids, tenders, and contracts.
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience managing transactional finance in a multi-site organisation.
· Advanced skills in budgeting, modelling, and financial analysis.
· A proactive leader who thrives on improving processes and driving efficiency.
· Experience in construction or project-based environments (desirable)
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
· CA/CPA qualified in a chartered firm, followed by three years in industry, or 10+ years' experience in industry finance positions.
