Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex structural and temporary works designs from concept to constructionProvide technical oversight, design assurance, and mentorship across a multidisciplinary teamManage project scopes, budgets, and resource planning, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomesContribute to business development, tenders, and client presentationsDevelop and review competitive fee proposals and project estimatesOversee design documentation and ensure alignment with Australian Standards and client requirementsDrive collaboration with global teams, including coordination of offshore resourcesPromote a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvementMaintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor
What You Bring
Chartered Structural Engineer (Engineers Australia or equivalent)Extensive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on complex infrastructure and temporary worksProven leadership in project delivery, team mentoring, and client engagementStrong expertise in steel and concrete design, with solid understanding of load paths, constructability, and first principlesPractical, site-based problem-solving experienceDemonstrated proficiency in structural analysis and FEM tools including Civil 3D, SpaceGass, Midas, and Strand7, with ability to lead complex modelling projectsStrong knowledge of Australian Design Standards and construction codesCommercially astute with experience in fee proposals, resource planning, and cost control
