We are currently offering a great opportunity for a driven Senior Account Manager to join our team in Albury, NSW. The focus of your role will be to develop strong customer relationships in this major agricultural region in Southern NSW.

Albury also has the added convenience of having a large regional airport with flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Melbourne.

You will provide agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region, with product sales both in store and on farm. In addition, you will;

* Gain exposure to an agriculture area with broadacre cropping.
* Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers and who have significant experience partnering with producers
* Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises
* Build solid and long-term client relationships, and develop a strong understanding of the clients' business goals and share technical and market information to enable clients to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises
* Maintain relationships with the healthy list of existing customers, with room to target new clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input
* Stay up to date with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application
* A minimum 4-5 years building enduring and successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and service
* A history of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed and chemical products and application applicable to those crops grown in the region.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
* A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license is essential.
* Experience in an agronomic advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser will secure this rewarding role.
