About the role:
As an Airport Operations Officer, you will contribute to the efficient and professional delivery of services at the Whyalla Airport in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. You will ensure that the maintenance and development of Airport grounds and facilities are maintained in a safe manner within regulatory limitations.
About you:
We are looking for a person who has:
* Unimpeded South Australian Drivers' licence
* Hold or ability to obtain ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
* Hold or ability to obtain a current South Australian Working with Children Check
* Hold or ability to obtain an Aerodrome Reporting Officer Certificate
* Knowledge and understanding of the Aviation Industry with respect to Airport Operations, development and maintenance requirements
* Good demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Tickets/competencies for the operation of minor plant (e.g., brush cutters, mowers)

The salary applicable for this role is in accordance with the Local Government Employees Award and Council's current Enterprise Agreement, paid at Grade 7 commencing at $76,575 per annum, paid pro‑rata for hours of work.
