Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, managing client accounts, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customers.
* Generate leads through outbound activity, networking, and attending industry events.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
* Work with senior Business Development and Account Management professionals to upskill and develop.
* Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, sales activities and progress in Salesforce.
* Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs by driving business growth.
* Act as a customer advocate; resolve issues with urgency and accountability.
* Continually improve our clients' experience.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar role.
* Analytical skills and problem‐solving ability to assess client needs and find ways to meet them.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with lead generation and account management.
* Ability to influence decisions.
* Ability to articulate to senior stakeholders.
* Strong document‐writing skills.
* Proven track record working to deadlines and time management.
* Driven to succeed and willing to go the extra mile.
* Willingness to learn.
