About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at Launceston General Hospital.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, efficient, and accountable pharmacy services for hospital inpatients and outpatients. This will include dispensing medications, offering medicines information and other supporting health advice to patients, and contributing to the development of hospital staff's knowledge of medication-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense medications for inpatient, outpatient, and discharge supply, in accordance with all legal requirements, and work within the parameters of various medication access schemes available in public hospitals.
* Routinely offer verbal and written medicines information and other supporting health advice to patients.
* Provide information on medications to hospital staff and contribute to the development of their knowledge of medication-related issues.
* Rotate through areas of the health service, including Dispensary, emergency care, surgical and medical inpatients, rehabilitation and sub-acute care, oncology, and remote care.
Requirements

* Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
