About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Maintenance team.
* The ideal candidate will be going into their second year of a Boilermaker apprenticeship and have successfully completed their first year in 2025.
* They will be responsible for performing a range of repairs, installations and maintenance on plant, equipment and machinery within the Power Station.
* The role involves working on a variety of welding, fabrication and structural projects while learning from experienced tradespeople.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A technical aptitude, assessed during the process by aptitude testing and review of 1st year TAFE assessment results
* A commitment to undertake and complete formal training at TAFE
* Demonstrated safety awareness and practical aptitude
* OHS Construction Induction or a willingness to obtain it
* Passion for the trade and eagerness to develop your skills
* Safety-conscious, punctual and a team player
* A strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A current driver's license (preferred but not essential)
