3-4 months Pat Leave Contract Data discovery and manipulation, working and transforming HR data to improve usability and maximise the insights Proficiency in Excel (advanced level), Power BI (good to have) - dashboard creation and manipulations of data sets The Senior Manager – Network and Infrastructure is responsible for leading the design, development, and management of the organisation’s network architecture, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business, supports strategic initiatives, and aligns with industry best practices. The role will also drive innovation in network technologies, including cloud networking, SDN (Software-Defined Networking), and next generation network and Infrastructure security. Must have experience in: Mentor and manage a team of 8 - 10 direct reports, including performance evaluations, career development, and workload prioritization. Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing complex global networks, including network security, LAN/WAN, data centre networks, cloud networks, wireless connectivity solutions and hybrid environments. Lead the team in responding to network outages, security incidents, and other critical issues. Oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions using core networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS). Manage Juniper Mist for AI-driven wireless networking, ensuring seamless connectivity, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting Experience working with Hosting Service Providers and Global Cloud Service Providers. Administer and configure Palo Alto firewalls in accordance with provided security requirements, including policy management, threat prevention, content management, and access control. Lead multiple application infrastructure projects covering specialist areas such as Network Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Security Compliance tools, Messaging, and Infrastructure Management tools. Lead and recommend architecture design enhancements to automate and streamline network infrastructure. Development of measurable, repeatable infrastructure deliver processes Evaluate and recommend strategies, operations for monitoring, maintaining, and evolving network and security infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network capabilities with broader needs. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership & Planning: Lead the network architecture vision and strategy to align with the organisation's business goals and technological direction. Develop and maintain a comprehensive network strategy that supports scalability, security, stability / resilience, performance, and future growth. Define and implement the long-term network roadmaps, considering emerging technologies, business needs, and global best practices. Provide thought leadership on next generation networking technologies, including SDN, network automation / routing, cloud networking, and wireless connectivity mediums Network and Infrastructure Design & Architecture Oversee the design and implementation of highly available, reliable, and secure network architecture for the organization’s global operations. Design complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, cloud integration, edge computing, wireless connectivity solutions and hybrid cloud environments. Ensure the network infrastructure supports mission-critical applications, with a focus on minimizing downtime and optimising performance. Cross- Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Network Engineering, Cyber Security, broader Architecture teams and Technology Asset teams to ensure the network strategy and reference architectures supports organisational objectives and business requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Network Engineers, Architects, and other Technology teams to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing operational efficiency.
