With the expansion of the multi-entity organisation now including Yugen Tea Bar, and recently opened Yugen, we are on the hunt for the best talent to lead our event operations team to the next level.
**THE ROLE**
The
**Event Supervisor **will be responsible for leading small, medium, and large-scale events in multiple spaces throughout the venue. With exceptional knowledge of high-quality service as well as health and safety provisions, the Event Operations Manager will be
**a hands-on role where floor service and interaction with clients is paramount**. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility and weekend work, with a mixture of both day and night shifts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Leading the events Food & Beverage operations team
- Maintain a consistently elevated standard of events
- Hands on leadership and direction
- Management, training & development of the events team
- Roster management
- Briefing and debriefing the events team, including performance management
- Work closely with the Events Planner in the lead up to events
- Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders
**THE MUST HAVES**
- At least 3 years' experience in managing or supervising high-calibre functions and events
- Hospitality Floor experience
- Ability to enthuse and empower all staff on your team
- Ability to adapt to the changing event environment
- Exceptional communication and leaderships skills
- Outstanding pressure management mindset
