Job Summary
AWX is seeking Civil labourers who hold an MR licence. Our client provides transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. The RMC operations are highly responsive and risk‐based, with teams often working in live‐traffic environments under time‐critical conditions.

* Timely response to defects and hazards
* Compliance with contract specifications and standards
* Accurate reporting, record‐keeping, and evidence collection
* Effective coordination between contractors, RoadTek, and TMR
Requirements of the Role
* Capable and values‐driven contractor with strong knowledge and experience in road construction and/or maintenance practices, who leads by example and sets clear expectations for quality and performance.
* Strong work ethic, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion while working independently or in teams within agreed priorities.
* Maintains accurate records, seeks feedback to continually improve performance, and knows when to ask for support to achieve the best outcomes.
* Confidence and courage in decision‐making, including the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
* Strong commitment to compliance, actively upholding Workplace Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, anti‐discrimination, and other relevant policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general labouring duties, including road maintenance, vegetation management, and construction tasks.
* Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including chainsaws, in a safe and efficient manner.
* Drive and operate Medium Rigid (MR) trucks to transport materials and equipment to and from work sites.
* Assist with traffic management duties as required.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards at all times.
* Work collaboratively within a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Shift work, including night works, weekend works and day shift on a monthly rotation. Roster will be provided dependent on commencement date.
Required skill group: Construction Trades Worker.
