Your Role Will Include

* Delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care to both admitted and non-admitted patients
* Participating in inpatient, outpatient, after-hours and on-call services as per departmental rosters—including Hospital in the Home and internal consultation services across HNELHD
* Engaging in regular ward rounds, clinical handover, clinics, and consults
* Contributing to a collegiate, team-based culture that supports professional development and collaboration
* Supervising and educating undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and multidisciplinary team members
* Actively participating in clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management activities—including M&Ms
We’re Looking For Someone Who
* Holds a primary medical degree registered with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP General Medicine)
* Brings recent and broad experience in General Medicine
* Thrives in a team-based environment and contributes to a supportive and collegial workplace
* Has a passion for improving services, training future clinicians, and driving quality care in a regional setting
* Is ready to contribute to the next chapter of Maitland Medicine, helping to re-establish it as a premier training location
