Housing ACT are looking for a diligent, versatile and enthusiastic person to join the Portfolio Planning and Alignment team as the Senior Project Officer - Sales and Acquisitions. The Senior Project Officer is responsible for managing the sale and acquisition of property to support the ACT Housing Strategy: Growing and Renewing Public Housing program. It supports the Assistant Director, Portfolio Planning and Alignment, to implement the annual capital program and prepare reports and recommendations on purchases, auction sales, sales to tenants and shared equity applications. The position works closely with various teams throughout Housing ACT to ensure the sale and acquisition of property is meeting the needs of current and future tenants, in alignment with the current Acquisition Strategy. Building and maintaining relationships is an important part of the position’s responsibilities. We are looking for people with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and use relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
