 
        
        Job Title: Governance Leadership Role
This is a senior leadership position in the Administrative Review Tribunal's Governance and Executive Support branch.
The Governance Leadership Role works strategically to ensure the Tribunal has frameworks, structures, processes and documentation in place to achieve its performance objectives and manage risk consistent with its obligations under the Public Governance and Performance Accountability Act 2013.
Key Responsibilities include:
 * Leading a small national team to support the Tribunal's Audit and Risk Committee;
 * Managing the internal audit function;
 * Coordinating strategic and operational planning and reporting processes;
 * Managing the Tribunal's risk management framework;
 * Establishing and coordinating best-practice governance frameworks.
To be successful, you will need:
 * Proven ability to operate strategically and with a high level of autonomy;
 * Highly developed communication skills, including negotiation and strategic advice on complex issues;
 * Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
 * Leadership and management skills, including prioritisation and team development;
 * Extensive knowledge of Australian Government risk and governance requirements.
