About the role
We are seeking experienced Final Trim Grader Operators/HD Fitters to join our team at Spec Trim Civil Plant Hire Pty Ltd in Australind, Western Australia. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the execution of our projects. As a member of our skilled construction team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and maintaining plant equipment to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
* Operate final trim graders with precision to ensure accurate and efficient site preparation
* Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy-duty plant and equipment
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform repairs as needed
* Maintain detailed records of equipment performance and servicing activities
* Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure the smooth running of construction projects
* Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a final trim grader operator and/or heavy-duty fitter, with a minimum of 3 years in the construction industry
* Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
* Excellent operating skills and a thorough understanding of heavy machinery and equipment
* Commitment to safety and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A valid Australian driver's licence and HR licence
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
