This role is ideal for a sales professional looking to earn, learn, and grow their Sales career.

We are: WHAT WE DO: We help companies (big and small) grow. We work with major brands such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Dell, and with privately-owned companies in the Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software, and FinTech sectors in Australia.

We are looking for: An intelligent, highly-motivated sales professional.

We are located: We are housed at 680 George Street near Town Hall station. We have several offices in the building, and access to unlimited seats in a business lounge with extensive water and city views. We also allow a degree of flexibility and work from home days. We believe in a contemporary workplace: we provide a workplace which is not defined solely by a physical office.

Whether working autonomously or in a team, you’ll be passionate about delivering outcome-driven objectives. You will work alongside:

Although we are a small team, you will work alongside skilled account executives, salespeople, designers, developers, and full-stack digital marketers. Additionally, you will also work with clients directly.

Job Responsibilities

- Researching prospective clients, via:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator (paid for by us)
- Extensive data and notes collected in our CRM
- Advanced tools supported by our own team
- You will also have access to Marketing and Administrative support for prospecting/research

- Outreaching to prospective clients, primarily to the following personas:
- Business owners
- CEOs / Directors
- Chief Operating Officers, General Managers, and other 2ICs
- Chief Marketing Officers and Heads of Marketing
- Sales Directors / other Sales leaders

- Setting up initial discovery meetings to understand:
- The true nature of our prospects’ business
- Opportunities for their business to grow
- Fit between their needs and the various services Resonate provides

- Qualifying prospects

- Setting up further discovery sessions with prospects:
- You will have access to Resonate senior leadership for these calls
- You will be able to bring Marketing or other Delivery experts on the calls where needed
- You will be supported and guided to ensure a maximum likelihood of success

- Preparing solution presentations
- We have extensive templates pre-built as a basis
- You will have help and support on any technical / detailed content
- You will collaborate with our Delivery heads where necessary

- Co-delivering solution presentations

- Preparing proposals

- Ensuring receipt of a signed contract (closing the deal)

- Recording extensive notes on your discovery sessions
- Handing these notes over to our Delivery team once contract is signed

You have

- 2+ years of proven success in a B2B sales role
- Drive and persistence in the face of rejection
- Intelligence and creativity
- Capability to communicate the complex simply
- Empathise and understand others
- Read between the lines
- Impart trust
- Instinct for sniffing out the truth
- Clear, mathematical understanding of how to forecast sales
- Crisp and concise ability to pick apart the faults in an opportunity
- Natural ability to pick the right bets to spend time with
- Even better verbal and in-person communication

We would like you to have

- A bachelor’s degree or above
- Experience or exposure to the IT industry
- Experience or exposure to the world of Marketing agencies
- Experience managing people
- Experience selling Retainer or Managed Services agreements
- Experience selling to the owners / founders of businesses
- Experience running a small business / your own entrepreneurial venture
