Commercial and Technical Sales Representative – Export
Significant Australian owned Food Manufacturer and supplier of dairy fat replacement and oil-based ingredients is seeking an experienced & dynamic Commercial & Technical Sales Representative for our Export Division.
Peerless Foods supplies a diverse range of products to local and overseas markets
and as a member of the International Sales and Marketing division, you will be drive and oversee sales and marketing functions for key markets.
Reporting to the Business Manager International and Strategic projects you will Assist Business Managers to expand and build on current markets and products by developing innovative solutions for the customer base, while supporting commercial, market and product developmental and technical projects.
As a professional in Commercial and Technical sales within export markets you will demonstrate an understanding in the five core functions of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop sales plans consistent with business objectives for volume & margin growth, inclusive of:
* New market development
* New Product and Packaging Development
* Innovation & Renovation
* Forecast & budget plans
· Monitor the market in terms of Products, trends, supplier shares, packaging, competitor activity, consumer usage and attitudes
· Analyse, monitor and provide regular performance feedback against Business Plan objectives.
· Assist in the achievement of sales (volume & value) and contribution margin targets for selected export customers and markets
· Support the current Peerless customer base with a 'solutions' based strategy as agreed with the Business Manager - International
· Participate in the negotiation and establishment of long-term sustainable supply contracts incorporating obligations, KPI's and commercial clauses for export customers
· Prepare and deliver presentations to key accounts and end users about global trends affecting consumer usage of specific products highlighting Peerless product solutions.
· Develop and leverage Account relationships. Identify key personnel, decision makers and influencers.
· Provide administrative and strategic support to the Business Manager - International activities, including:
* Marketing Plans
* Sales Forecasting
* NPD
* Market intelligence, Competitive/industry activities
* Monthly accounts sales/trends and reports
