This role reports to the Sales Manager and will be based in Fyshwick, ACT.Role ResponsibilitiesEnsure business transactions are conducted in a legal and professional manner with robust ethical, safety and compliance standardsUndertake sales activities within the segment / region to achieve and exceed budgeted targets and take corrective action as required, whilst exceeding customer expectationsContribute to the development of the segment and customer strategy and plans, to protect current business and win new business whilst identifying opportunities for value added products and services through account plan managementDevelop strong multilevel relationships with targeted customers and segment decision makers whilst providing outstanding customer service to ensure a supplier of choice positionEnsure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle as well as customer accounts are managed to an acceptable debtor levelMaintain and report knowledge of market trends, competitor activities and competitor product developmentEnsure appropriate reporting and recording of sales activities via reports and CRMCandidate RequirementsSuperior written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to speak, present and lead discussions with customers along with providing product training to a customer groupA minimum of 3 years external sales experienceMust possess a current ACT Driver's LicenceSelf-motivated, driven, enthusiastic and resilient with the ability to operate autonomouslySAP & CRM Salesforce experience and knowledge preferredBasic competency in Word, Excel and Power PointBuilding industry knowledge and experience preferred but not essentialEstablished industry contacts in the Residential Housing Segment preferred but not essentialWhy join Knauf?
