Details: Statutory Planning is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to assist in leading the Land Use Services team that assess and determine a wide range of applications associated with the delivery of land use, planning and environmental objectives within the Statutory Planning Division.
The current vacancy is within the Land Use Services team, which is primarily responsible for managing the ACT leasehold system in accordance with the Planning Act 2023. This includes the assessment and determination of land‑use related applications, the review of lease variation charges, the production of Crown leases, and oversight of the lease variation registration process.
The team also undertakes the ongoing administration of land‑use management services, including concessional lease determinations; licensing over unleased land; unit and community title approvals; applications for unit title; dealings with rural leases; land rent reappraisals; and land rent payouts. Land Use Services provides advice and services to a wide range of stakeholders, including the Minister’s Office, executives, CED staff, industry representatives, and the broader community.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Demonstrated experience or qualifications in Land Use Administration, Urban Planning, Customer Services, Law or Government Administration is highly desirable and would be an advantage.
