Mackellar is one of Australia's largest privately owned mining equipment & service providers in Mining and Civil Earthmoving. We are the mining services contractor for Bravus' Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland.
Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs, we also encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Conduct assessment and inspections of dewatering pumps
* Complete the welding and installation of HDPE pipelines
* Complete accurately and timely service recording date on equipment
* Operating of various machines for infrastructure projects
* Complete dewatering duties in active mining environments
* Maintain and service pumps with daily inspections
* Dewatering of Pit floors and sumps
To be successful in the role you will need:
* HC Liccence is essential
* skills and evidence for at least 2 of dewatering / pump skills, small excavator, small truck, dozer, compactor or grader
* Current Drivers License
