The successful candidate will have the right client and team focus, as well as a commitment to and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.About The RoleEffectively manage activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco’s objectives.Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff are available at the required times to complete tasks.Lead a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing the assigned scope.Manage the work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget.Managing effectively scope changes and trends – actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and management of the change process.Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel.Travel to site as requiredUnwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve deadlines.About YouMechanical Engineering degree from a recognised tertiary instituteIdeally 2-5 years of experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects,Previous experience in process plants and mining projects in operations or construction is essentialSubstantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting.Outstanding communication skill and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.EPCM/EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel will be looked upon favorably but not essentialStrong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environmentWhy Ausenco?At Ausenco, We Are Dedicated To Fostering Individual Growth And Enabling You To Leverage Your Strengths In The Workplace.
