Permanent full time Moorabbin location 3-5 years mechanical drafting experience essential Exciting major project work The Company: An established and highly regarded building services company specialising in HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical services are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join its Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team based in Moorabbin. The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to industry leading projects, producing high quality mechanical drawings and 3D models that support efficient project delivery and site installation. Reporting to the State VDC Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, drafting personnel and clients to ensure timely and successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities include: Preparation of detailed Mechanical drawings and schedules in accordance with project plans Coordination of drawings with other trades Issuing drawings for approval and managing revisions Identifying variations and supporting Project Managers Site measuring where required Supporting apprentices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with WHS, QA and environmental standards About You! You will bring solid drafting experience within the Building Services industry and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Minimum of 3-5 years previous drafting experience in Building Services (Mechanical) is essential Strong BIM modelling capability Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks Manage essential Certificate IV in Drafting (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Services) or equivalent industry experience Team player with excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy Excellent communication skills and can do attitude This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally integrated VDC team working on complex and technically challenging projects.
