An exciting full-time opportunity exists to secure a key administrative role at Seymour Health.
The Executive Administration Officer role, reporting to the Executive Assistant, provides crucial executive level administrative support and coordination of the organisation's governance and executive functions. The role works closely with the Board, the CEO, Executive Assistant and the Executive team to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability to remain calm and level-headed working under pressure with tight timelines to deliver the required outcomes. The role requires an individual with strong organisational and computer skills who is agile and flexible with excellent problem-solving and prioritisation abilities.
As Executive Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support for various committee meetings across various levels of formality and departments, provide administrative support for the credentialing of Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and be comfortable working in a demanding and fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment with competing priorities.
Along with a professional attitude and a commitment to help Seymour Health achieve its vision and values, the successful applicant must have:
* Experience as an Executive Administrator, preferably with the hospital/health care sector
* Ability to facilitate and coordinate communications between Executive, Board Directors, internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrated organisational skills to manage workload, execute tasks efficiently and accurately under pressure and prioritise competing schedules
* Proven organisational, time management, multi-tasking, communication (both verbal and written), prioritisation and problem-solving abilities, together with a high level of attention to detail in written materials
* Proven ability to organise and coordinate complex projects and events
* Ability to coordinate time critical projects, meeting standards and deadlines efficiently and to a high-quality standard
* Advanced computer skills in IT systems, particularly in the full suite of MS Office programs
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ideally you will possess:
* A genuine desire for organisation and planning with demonstrated experience in having administrative systems and processes that challenge and improve processes outcomes
* A relevant Administration qualification OR equivalent relevant experience
* Experience in a similar role within a complex sector such as health
* Ability to build relationships - from front-line staff to Board Directors and Executive staff

Seymour Health is conveniently located an hour north of Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway and V/Line train service.
