About the business and the role We are a family owned award winning business, primarily we are looking for a motivated 1st year apprentice who has a good work ethic, great communication skills, can work under pressure and complete jobs on a budget. We will consider a 2nd year apprentice for the position as well. We want somebody who has neat appearance, always on time and willing to tackle any job assigned. The right person for this is someone who wants to grow and gain more experience with the security of a long term position. The successful candidate will: Have a will of wanting to learn about carpentry Be able to motivate and listen to foreman onsite Be reliable and company focused Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of WHS An ability to work independently under instruction and also part of a team Be able to communicate well with other team members.
