About the role
As a Support Worker with Sunshine Health, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalised care to older Australians on the Sunshine Coast. This rewarding role offers flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Providing social support activities to improve clients' quality of life
Providing transportation to and from appointments or social outings
Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
Previous experience in aged care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
Compassionate and patient approach when working with vulnerable individuals
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence
